Does corroded battery compartments mean the guitar won’t work even if I did clean it? A bit more info: I know my Kramer striker for the ps2 does not light up in anyway so maybe the WT guitar doesn’t either? Sorry for the long post everyone but if anyone could help it would be much appreciated! Does anyone know if this lights up? or if there might be some other way of testing whether the guitar might even work before I get the dongle? I have batteries in there of course, but something that also worries me is that it came with the battery pack pretty corroded on the inside but I was able to get it very clean of the corrosion using vinegar and cotton swabs. But this guitar does not have four lights near the strum bar but I think there might be a little light on the directional pad on the front of the guitar. So I figured I could test the World Tour ps2 guitar the same way. So before I spend $60 on the dongle, does anyone know if this guitar is supposed to light up in anyway? For instance my les Paul for ps3, if the dongle is not plugged into the console then the four lights near the strum bar will flash red until it finds and connects to the dongle. ![]() ![]() But since the guitar came without the dongle in the first place I’m not even sure it works. ![]() (From the goodwill website □) Now, I know which dongle I need and I know where I’m gonna purchase it from. All I need to do is buy the appropriate dongle because, of course, it came without one. Hello everyone, so I have had World Tour guitar for the ps2 sitting around for a while and I really wanna get it working.
